Frontpage Kulttuurivoimala - Culture Power Station Ry is an organization promoting community, enviroment and media art. Culture Power Station acts at local, national and international level. In the city of Kemi we maintain alternate shop Laituri, Gallery Voima, and Lapland Media Workshop. In the suburban Meri-Toppila of Oulu we run Resident home Alvari in cooperation with Toppila House Owners' Association and City of Oulu. Our organization is renovating old silo in Meri-Toppila, which we have named Culturesilo. Silo has been designed by Alvar Aalto in 1930's. Culture Power Station has other projects as well, for example Media Bridge -project and Customership -project. By becoming a member... you will join a community, which makes important societal, artistic and cultural work in Kemi, Oulu, Finland and even further. Membership costs 20 euros.
